Kinethic Bar Spin Keirin Fork

Kinethic bar spin keirin fork
Kinethic custom bikes out of Spain recently announced a new fork for that allows 700c bar spins on a keirin or other track bike. The fork is zero rake and 395mm in length, allowing the fork to clear the downtube on most bikes and handle the same no matter if the bars are pointed front or back. Lugged steel construction lends it a classic aesthetic for this modern evolution of use. Definitely a step in the direction of a full on trick bike as it will certainly negatively affect the handling of the bicycle otherwise by kicking the headtube and seattube angles back, slightly raising the bottom bracket and changing the trail measurement. Whether you find these changes acceptable depends on your use – the bike will barspin but likely will not handle as deftly as it did before. You won’t find information about this fork on the Kinethic website, but you may find that you have a strange urge to dance as you look at the other bikes and parts Kinethic offer. Available in 1″ or 1 1/8″ threadless steerers and custom lengths for about $200, this fork is another take in a rapidly growing and changing segment of the market.

WHAT A WASTE! 2 bones for a fork that you can snap like nothing and it handles goofy, just get a dmr or a charge fork ,or volume when they release it later on this year

…….hmmmm, kenny read the artical again, it says “certainly negatively affect the handling of the bicycle” perhaps maybe you should stick with a bmx bike
