i say, leave the fuck off people, quit being so mean. if you don't like the price, who th fuck is making you buy them? no one. at least the guys are trying to make something themselves, rather than waiting for other people to do it, then shitting all over their efforts with nasty comments.
i know its pricey, but tbh id rather support a uk-based product for once....

"These things are just a rip-off of Hold Fast straps."

errrr... have you even compared the design of the 2? Holdfast use metal hardware on the strap, whereas Jol straps use no hardware and are purely multiple layers of hook & eye fabric....

Quit repeating things you've heard other people say without looking into it yourself.... please...

These dont have the twist/diagonal mount that make feetbelts and power grips grip- I guess you tighten them after your foot is on the pedal? or just wriggle into them? Anyways I guess they work, and look nice on their website, when new - BUT - $50? That may be the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard.

Not exactly a new idea. Check out Power Grips for 22 bucks. Been using em for a couple of years. Same idea but allows you to lock and they're half the price.

$50 are you serious? I know they're handmade, but damn. I could make these for $10 and I don't know crap about sewing. They look a little banged-up too from the pics. How's the quality?

I don't think people were bemoaning the price of Feetbelts...rather, the apparent ripoff aspects of the Powergrips design threw folks.

$50? People were whining and moaning about $20 for Feetbelts! If I rode flats I'd be looking at two sets of Feet Belts and lunch before I thought about dropping $50 on those things.
