Hufnagel Cycles Portuer/City Bike Release

Indianapolis to Portland refugee, Jordan Hufnagel of Hufnagel Cycles, has proudly released what he deems his “ultimate bike”. The Portuer ups the bar on style alone, from the saddle bag to the old world water bottle to the custom stem and rack. He tells us the bike is a “blast to ride” and uses it for daily errands and more ambitious adventures, and we’re apt to believe him.

Just to look at it, the mildly swooping bars and balloon-ish tires leads me to believe it’s as comfortable as it is quick. You can expect to pay a pretty penny for it ($6,250), of course, but this looks to be a bike you wouldn’t ever plan on parting with. The Portuer is now available for order and is subject to a limited run, so you’ll get both a beautiful, functional bike and a collector’s item of sorts. Check out a complete line of studio shots here.
