Hollywood Rides a Bike

This is how my browsing went today.

“Work sucks. I need a Boing Boing fix. Let’s see… Space, Space, internet privacy, space, Bottled coffee! *click* Oooh bottled coffee. Dang, shipping is expensive, screw that. Hey, they have a blog. *click* Ooooooh bikes on a site that sells bottled coffee! Life is good!”

And that brought me to the book Hollywood Rides a Bike by Stephen Rea, who happens to be a constant customer of La Colombe cafes. They did a pretty extensive write-up about his interests and authoring of the above mentioned book. Speaking of, the short story of Hollywood Rides a Bike is that Rea found a photo of a movie star in a vintage shop, started a blog as he found more images, amassed quite a following, put out the book and followed it up with an ipad app. For only $13 and some change, this would make a great coffee table book.
