Here's an idea to all the jackhole commercial artists... try recording an album that maybe, oh... doesn't have an $11 million production price tag. That maybe doesn't need to pay back all the mound of money that is owed to all the levels of managers, label lackeys, and CEOs' grandkids' grandkids... how's about putting just your good 'ol heart, soul, blood and sweat into expressing yourself without an emphasis on funding your future drug habits or your next yacht-setting for your DIY porno?

Huh? Yeah... thousands of bands do it every day. Maybe you should go back and try it. Then maybe you wouldn't get such a sick up your ass about someone sharing your songs on the internet.

Guns N Roses have been dinosaurs from the start.
Radiohead have been groundbreaking from the start.

Guess who's on the other side of the downloading issue?

tucson - property? really? so when you release a song into the public domain (not legally speaking) you should expect for people not to share it? then take into account the fact that it is the same public that your interaction with is the general inspiration in such songs yet they do not have any right to them?

lock yourself away for a lifetime, make up songs of your own and release them to no one and i'll give it to you - those are your songs.

it the music is actually good, people will pay for it whether it be cd's, shows or downloads. yes there will be freeloaders, but if people love your product they will make sure it sticks around. a truly free market is always correct.
