Fyxomatosis creator Andy White is confident in the quality of his new 144bcd track chainrings, even strangely so. Wear out the ring in 12 months or less from riding and not abuse, and get a new one for free. High quality rings on fixed drivetrains can last years under most of us, but hard charging, everyday riders in abusive conditions can tear through anything. And no doubt, with enough time they too with chew this ring apart. The gamble is all on the twelfth month. Look at it like a challenge; ride enough miles per year and never buy a chainring again.
