Folding Bike Travels

Are folding bikes and traveling your thing? We were tipped off to the site Folding Bike Travels.com, hosted by a couple experienced folding bike enthusiasts who offer travel tips, gear reviews, and culture bits all related to bikes that fold. They posted a blog piece about a trip from Cairo to Cape Town and followed that up with a recently released book titled, A Hitch-Bikers Guide Through Africa. You can purchase the e-book through a number of online sellers listed on their site or get a hardback copy straight from them (limited run at the moment). Folding Bike Travels would obviously be a site for the folding-bike niche of the bike community, but it seems to have a lot of good information for just plain bike touring and commuting as well.

Read an interview about their Africa travels here.
