FIXED FIXED FIXED Photo Exhibition in Amsterdam

Pristine Fixed Gear in Amsterdam is celebrating its grand opening this Saturday December 12th with an alleycat and party all centered around a photo exhibition, FIXED FIXED FIXED.

Throw a rock in Amsterdam and you’ll probably hit someone on a bike. As a city we have a two-wheeled culture that’s richer than most. Take FIXED gear for example. Look closely in Amsterdam and you see a whole lot more than what magazines casually dismiss as the latest in a long list of passing trends. From the velodrome, to the courier run, to the bike polo court, FIXED gear has taken on a multifaceted life all of its own. In conjunction with photographer Jasper Faber, this project aims to capture a glimpse of the very different approaches to riding FIXED, as well as the one unifying thing that they all share: a love of bikes and a love of riding them.
