Urban Velo

Fixed-burgh

Wanna see a hipster’s point of view riding around the beloved Urban Velo headquarter’s city of Pittsburgh? Well, here you go. Personally, I’ve ridden around Pittsburgh when I visited back in the day and this video doesn’t even come close to doing it justice. I specifically remember bombing the hell out of some huge hill, praying to any number of gods I don’t believe in that I don’t hit an extended patch of ice and go sliding to my death in the intersection at the bottom. I also remember some bridges and mountain bike trails packed with more drunk cyclists than I thought possible. At least, those are the memories my brain was able to retain despite the cold, because I think it was negative a million degrees when I showed up. Seriously though, Pittsburgh is rad and there is a reason Urban Velo has never packed up and moved out West.

Apparently pitsburgh only consists of a small section of the north shore where the stadiums are located and the CMU campus.
