We just got the heads up on the new $800 Felt TK4130, a complete modern bike with a number of nods to the past. Add up the faux wooden rims, double plate crown, skip-tooth ring, fluted cranks, threadless stem with integrated spacers and other parts and paint spec and you get a pretty classy looking complete bike without sacrificing modern construction. It should go without saying given the model name that it’s a steel frame and fork, but the clear coated fork ends with the braze showing give it away if there was any question.

Do you know when this bike becomes available? I wasn’t able to find it on the Felt site.
$800 for a Fixie seems steep especially since it’s made out of steel. carbon fiber ok or even aluminumn. since i have seen geared bikes of high end companies go for less. with $800 i would buy a better frame and build it up as a fixie and have money left over.
You would be hard pressed to find a track frame for much under 800$
