FBM’s Take brand Strutter and Raconteur
FBM is expanding their non-BMX offerings this year after the success of the Sword fixed gear frameset of the past couple of seasons, namely with a new brand, Take featuring the freestyle Strutter and the commuter Raconteur. The Strutter is a new-school fixed freestyle bike available as a complete bike for just around $700, spec’d with a unicrown BMX style fork and realistic parts for riders buying their first dedicated trick bike.
For the more casual commuters, the Raconteur is available for well under $500 as a no-nonsense singlespeed with style and a double plate crown fork. These bikes aren’t meant to be fancy or high end, but real-world options for riders not looking to spend the house in order to have a good time. Fat Bald Men are doing it again.
