Alexis Dold of Villin Cycle Works is a true artist—constantly creating, always innovating. At last year’s NAHBS he displayed his recent work with Damascus-style layered steel. He recently sent us these workshop photos, essentially a sneak preview of what we’ll be seeing in Richmond later this month.

Gorgeous…that pattern-welded steel looks fantastic and is truly unique for framebuilding.
