Ergon has been taking cues from what they saw at the Handmade Bicycle Show, and came to Interbike with a new cork-composite grip. It features their new, more eco-friendly packaging, too.

I’ll save final judgment until I see the packaging and complete ingredients list, but it FEELS like greenwashing to me.

“Greenwashing” or not, the old Ergon packaging was a nightmare of stylish excess. ANY improvement is a good thing.

New packaging is 100% post consumer recycled paper. Our new packaging is 40% less material than the previous…and can be recycled. Lots more info here…
