Prolly and the folks in NYC have been working hard on a film about having fun on your bike in the city. It’s called Empire, and they’ve just released the trailer. Visit www.empirebegins.com for more info.

I love that shirt, thanks again for it!
I don’t want to jump the gun Mark, but I hope to stock this movie in the Urban Velo store once it is available, and we ship worldwide.
this makes me want to ride with them! looks like soooooo much fun! i’m getting this film asap!
Zipping between taxis is one thing, but weaving through pedestrians (see 3:05 and 3:30) like that is more than just obnoxious, it’s hardly less dangerous than swinging a bat on a busy corner. What kind of person do you have to become to think that’s cool?
this may not be urban
but it will get people pumped

(okay… who posted that NYC Track Video first?)
Hi,
I’m in the process of getting a new bike here in NYC. I grew up on BMX and dont know if I can shake that…but I want more of a commuter ride. What bikes do you think they’re using when doing jumps, etc.? Would I be able to jump off like Wilis in this clip and not pop tires and bust wheels on a track bike? If so, which ones could take that and not kill my wallet? THANKS
