Ellen Fletcher, Holocaust Survivor & Bicycle Advocate
Cyclelicio.us recently posted a nice piece that introduced many of us to Ellen Fletcher for the first time. A staunch bicycle advocate who’s served on the Palo Alto city council and in the mayor’s office, the 82 year old Holocaust survivor still rides regularly.

Ellen is an amazingly sweet woman besides. Every Bike To Work Day I can count on seeing her at Palo Alto City Hall handing out schwag and coffee to passing cyclists. She’s an inspiration!
