I've owned two pairs of DZR low top spd shoes and both suffered from very poor workmanship - both had soles which came nearly completely unglued from the rest of the shoe in less than 30 days. Give DZR credit - they replaced them, but that still doesn't make up for the hassle and the replacement which suffered the same problem. Let's hope these H20's don't have the same problem. As to cleats touching the ground - when my pair were new they didn't touch the ground, but as the sole wears, they will - and these pictures of the H20 seem to show the material at least looks the same as mine. That's to be expected of any soft rubber bottom shoe, unless those bottoms are made of plastic or something harder that wears better.

I have 2 pairs of DZR's my cleats NEVER touch the ground. For fit they are pretty roomy I wear a 10 1/2 in street shoes so I went down to a 10 in the DZR fit is perfect. For comfort I have sensitive back that stems from my feet I can wear these all most all day with out any problems. I have the mambas which look to be the same shoe just not water proof. In short buy these!

Can you comment on the fit of the shoe and comfort beyond the flex of the sole? And what did they weigh in at? Also, the DZR website says the shoes will be available in the Winter. Any more specific info regarding how soon they will be orderable? Thanks- love your site!

My current Lake shoes click a little bit on tile and pavement, but make an aweful grinding noise on cement. Is the cleat on these shoes better recessed? Or should I always expect to bring a change of shoes regardless of how casual my cycling shoes look?

Unless you're wearing gaiters or have pants that ENSURE runoff will drip past the cuff, you're gonna have a bad time. Waterproof shoes alone are not adequate for any significant stretch of time.

And then at that point, you might as well wear removable shoe covers...
