Hard to believe that this article has been posted since Jan-2010, and no comments. I found it just now, searching for possible ways to add simple toe clip functionality to a mountain bike when rode on the street. GREAT IDEA, PICTURES, AND INSTRUCTIONS! Thank you for the great idea!

amazing, ive been looking to buy a set of straps for my fixie and find that they cost so much for something that looks so simple so i thought they have gotta be easy or at least cheaper to make yourself and thanks to this DIY i will have a set for cheaper than £30
