DIY Cargo Rack
Our hat’s off to DIY commuting maven Ann Rappaport. She knew she wanted a cargo rack for the front of her bike, but instead of just pulling out her wallet, she headed down to the local home-improvement store and went shopping. With an armful of shelf supports, conduit hangers and an assortment of nuts and bolds, Ann pieced together a cargo rack that’s functional and very industrial-chic.

Just found this on your site, thank you for the kind words. The rack is still 100% functional, hasn’t become loose and has carried a dog, backpacks as well as groceries. It will likely never be taken off the bike as it’s pretty much custom fit but that’s ok by me.
