David Byrne Portrait

Photographer Gil Inoue has a distinctly simple style that seems to be informed by fashion photography more than anything else. Here he met with bicycle and alternative transportation afficionado, David Byrne, at his home to get some portrait and environmental shots. As BikeSnobNYC likes to joke, and which has brought considerable attention to Byrne, the Talking Head frontman does enjoy his two-wheeled machines, so it was inevitable they would be part of the shoot. What I wasn’t expecting is Byrne’s pretty sweet penny farthing that makes an appearance. Take cheap shots all you want, but I think the dude is pretty rad and seems to keep a pretty youthful spirit despite his old age. Keep on cruisin’ Byrne.
