Community Bike Cart Design

bentrailer.jpg Bike trailers are good. Anything to promote cycling as a utility solution is good as gold. Recently the author of the Community Bike Cart Design ‘zine got in touch to let us know that on his personal site you can download the most recent PDF iteration for home printing. There are also plenty of pictures and info about various cart designs that Aaron has come up with or contributed to.

The Urban Velo Store sells copies of the printed zine for a few dollars if you’re more into paper and ink. Either way, its a great resource for inspiration.

Cool and very functional. I had an old steel Overbury’s mountain bike that I’d owned since 1987 and the drive side chainstay developed a hole thanks to tyres that were too big and no clearance. However all was not lost as I shipped it to http://www.re-cycle.org/ where it was destined to have a second life as a trailer and be needed and loved once again. :-)
