Clif Bar Bike Benefits
Man, I missed this one. Clif Bar recently celebrated their 20th anniversary and to mark the occasion gave EVERY employee of theirs a bike from Public with a custom head badge and personalized with their name and start date. I’ve always been a fan of Clif products and what I knew of their business culture, so it’s good to see they are sticking to their ideals with gestures like this. Giving away bikes to employees might seem like an excessive gesture, but the potential rewards given back to the company, whether that is productivity, lower health care costs, overall mental peace, etc., seem to be worth the risk. Hell, sure beats a stupid desk clock or paperweight.

Say these bikes did encourage employees commuting to work on them, imagine the time wasted trying to find your own bike after work

That’s a pretty generous gesture, considering the straitened times we live in. Clif Bar should be complimented on it.
