Some 36 teams from across North America made the 2008 NACCC polo tournmanet reportedly the biggest hardcourt gathering yet. Two courts lit by stadium lights let the play go on well after dark, with games extending for 12+ hours some days. Click here to see a gallery of polo images from the weekend.

Morning…I have never seen or played bike polo. Does everyone ride a fixie or are some singlespeeds?
If you take a close look at the photos you’ll see all sorts of bike out there. Fixed, single, geared, etc and just as many different brake setups and preferred gear ratios.
If you’re interested in another take on the polo surge – check out one of the originals (20+ years) http://www.bikeball.com
