my dickhole college won’t even move a bike rack they acquired when they bought a broken down elementary school from the city (and all of the land/property with it). I’ve talked to the city, college president, got 1/10 of my campus to sign a petition, and even taked to the newspapers and local tv stations. Oh. the bike rack is 1/2 a mile away from the intended spot we’d like it on campus… It’s 20′ x 3′ and would cost $1500 to buy these days. I guess my college is just an asshat…

I loved that article, although I wish there had been more mention of things like free training for students on urban cycling skills – how to bike in traffic, things like that. You never know, those kinds of skills might be very, very important someday.
