The 2009 NAHBS attracted quite a few vendors from Japan, including the clothing company CCP. Among their many unique offerings, I spotted the leather cycling gloves shown here. Totally retro, definitely minimalist and decidedly cool—unfortunately I don’t have more information on them. They don’t seem to appear on the CCP website, and being that my Japanese vocabulary is limited to about 10 words,
I was only able to ascertain that they cost $100 a pair.
The folks from CCP were very cool, though, and their other offerings were all very tempting. I picked up a unique, reversible cycling cycling cap for $15 (stay tuned for a review) and a couple cool reflective CCP patches. Check out www.ccp.fm for more info.
