Camo Is The New Black

Now you see it, now you don’t. Camo is the new black, meaning that in a few short months those special edition camo shoes you just got your hands on will look as dated as acid washed jeans. Interbike was chock-full of camo bicycle goods — water bottles, helmets, gloves, clothing, shoes, dudes — it’s easier to blend into the woods than ever. Being from Western Pennsyltucky we at Urban Velo have a special appreciation for camo as formal wear but couldn’t help but notice the proliferation of camouflage on bike accessories this time around. What’s next, 3D Violet anodization? Oh yeah, that’s cool again too.

Luckily, our friends at Urban Velo spotted this trend, too: http://urbanvelo.org/camo-is-the-new-black/ [...]

[...] And yes, they had some camo items, because camo was all the rage at Interbike. While we didn’t think to chronicle all the urban and traditional camo we were seeing, the writers of Urban Velo surely did. [...]
