Blicks Bags is a one-woman operation out of Cleveland, Ohio that makes custom messenger bags and backpacks. Unlike some places that allow you to make “custom” bags through a combination of stock options, Blicks Bags can make bags tailored to your specific wants and needs. All vinyl on the outside? Internal adjustable pockets built for cameras and computer gear? No problem. Custom embroidery and applique is also available, as is the requisite color matching of panels and stitching. The pictured bag was made from reclaimed materials and ended up running just under $200 — comparable to other messenger backpacks out on the market.
