Bicycle Themed Dinnerware

As some people know, I dabble in the world of ceramics and teach kids art at an after school program in Pittsburgh. This weekend the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild is hosting a benefit art show and sale, and I’ll be donating a 20-piece bicycle-themed dinnerware set. Each piece is a collage of sorts featuring vintage bicycle images and Victorian-era etchings. The images below are representative, but not the actual pieces in the set.

  • Jeff,

I read a bit about your ceramics on your personal blog…and I’ve got to say that you’ve got mad skills! The decal application, the various raku techniques, etc…almost all of it went right over my head, but it was nice to look in and see your spectacular arts.

Now, I should commission a complete dinnerware set with Campagnolo logos and component images from the classic era — something to drive my wife over the edge! ;)
