This bike comes with both a front and a rear brake, only the picture doesn't show it. It's a beautiful bike that is a bit over priced at $800.

I have owned a Bianchi in the past and the frame showed the attention to detail that Bianchi puts into their bikes. I am curious to find out if this is bike is manufactured in Italy or another Asian country. If it's manufactured in Italy Bianchi usually touts it on their frames.

the front fork gives away the fact that this is a mass produced taiwanese frame, but the whole thing is very very nice. A flipped north road bar would give it a really vintage look, like the Pashley guvnor but obviously more racy. Also, it has to have a rear brake with a freewheel in the Uk and most European countries, that is the law. Is the rear fork drilled for a brake if it isnt it is definitely sending out the wrong signals. I ride a fixie with a front only but wouldnt go out without a rear

what's wrong with the unicrown? just the thought of a lugged flat crown fork on this frame kinda grosses me out. unless you mean non-lugged? either way, i prefer it's womanly curves.

I might be incorrect but as I recall Sheldon suggested that a freewheel bike only needs a front brake, and the use of the rear is for inexperienced riders. these days inexperienced riders just ride without brakes, because they don't want to be "wussies".
