Bicycle Film Festival 2008 - NYC Coverage

Urban Velo took a road trip to NYC for the 2008 Bicycle Film Festival. As in years past, the films were awesome. Daniel Leeb’s film “King of Skitch” absolutely brought the house down, and the special presentation of Benny Zenga and Brian Vernor’s “Goodbye Tomorrow” left the audience hungry for the full-length story of their ride across Africa. Kalim Armstrong’s documentary “Orange Bikes Take Manhattan” drew righteous applause from a sold-out theater.

The above video is just the beginning of our Bicycle Film Festival 2008 coverage. Click here for part two’s coverage of the Bootleg/Peel Sessions trick contest, click here for part three and the block party, and click here for Brad’s photos.
