Ai WeiWei – Stacked

Dissident artist Ai Weiwei is back with another bicycle sculpture, titled Stacked.

Weiwei has essentially shown this very piece before, expressing a perspective on mobility, mass production and consumerism, the only difference being the arrangement of the bicycles.

Now showing in an Italian gallery, it is technically a different piece of art, though the context seems to remain the same. Constructed from 760 bikes it is certainly no less stunning than the first arrangement.
