My Soma Rush is total crap. 2008 model. Rear section is welded totally out of alignment. Tried to get Soma and their main distributor Merry Sales Co to warranty it, but to no avail. I definately would never purchase another Soma product considering the retail price of this F/F and their lack of customer support. Any of the large US bike companies would have replaced this failure of quality control out of shear embarrasment.

Given a choice, I prefer curved fork blades for aesthetics (I am "old-ish"), but the straight ones do the job, too...especially with that crown. Really, as long as the fork isn't a unicrown abomination, I'm happy!

I scoff at straight blades not because I am a purist, but simply because I think curvy forks look better. I am old, however, so that may have something to do with it.

The fork is nice...love me some crown lugs! Sure, the purists might scoff at straight blades, but I don't care about that.

Do the insides of the crown lugs have the long points and cutouts?

Also it has a road stem! not one of those ugly/unless mountain bike stems. meaning it's threaded so you can actually adjust the height of the handlebars. I see more and more bikes coming back to threaded, it makes me happy.
