We found this polo bike over at First Flight Bikes:
Mid 1970’s Polo bike. Made in Chicago(?) for bicycle polo. The bike uses a single speed freewheel with a Shimano rear disk brake. The handlebars are shortened to be able to swing the mallet.

Did 1970’s polo also include having the forks the wrong way?
I guess it would give you 0 rake handling…
yeah, that whole backwards fork thing…a little strange. i think even ‘WAY BACK in the 70’s’ they knew which way it was supposed to go. possibly a rebuild by someone?
I’d bet that fork is mounted correct for the desired handling characteristics. As an example, bikes built for motor pacing sometimes have the fork mounted “backwards” like this.
