    . . . and not much had changed when I toured the factory in the 1970′s ;) Actually by then they were using the openings in the walls where the belt drives originally passed through to convey wheels and other parts. Seeing the Paramount cage was awesome, particularly because that’s where my Sprint-frame Paramount was built. I think it is sad what happened to Schwinn. I don’t think they get the credit for providing the base that the current cycling industry was built upon.
